Pioneer Day

This year for Pioneer Day we thought we would try to make some extra money and hopefully teach the kids a little about selling and ways that they could earn some money. So we tried to sell waters and Gatorade at the parade and after, during all the festival activities. So we didn't do much to remember our pioneer heritage, but the great news is that Joshua and Caleb were good little salesmen. And if you know my Joshua and Jakob and sometimes Caleb, they will not talk to anyone that they don't know really well. Joshua and Caleb both were yelling out, "Water, Gatorade, $1!" This is a picture of Joshua pulling his water cooler and a video of Caleb saying his sales pitch. Elena earned a dollar from a guy for just being cute, so I guess that's her way of earning money. Jakob was claiming to be shy and wouldn't participate with the sales pitch. This video I took sideways on accident and for some reason will not rotate around so sorry, you have to watch it sideways.
