"Daddy's Being Mean"

So Elena is getting much better at communicating lately. We can actually understand her about 75% of the time. That's up from 25%. Anyway, she was really being a stinker and getting into the water in our water cooler. She had spilled the water all over the wood floor and left a pathway of water on the carpet and hall. And she had done this not once, not twice, but three times in one day. Yes, she was definitely being a stinker. She had already gotten in trouble from me for making big water messes. But Daddy got to be the bad guy the last time and she got so upset, she ran to me, with tears in her eyes and gave me a big hug on the legs and said, "Daddy's being mean." First time she's ever said that. Melt our hearts, this girl does. Ronny, says all the time that he would never have believed that a little girl could have such power over him, because when he was growing up he viewed his little sisters as just annoying. Suppose that's because they weren't HIS little girl.
