It's tradition in the Ruesch family for Grandma Ruesch to pay for rides for the grandkids on the first night of the Washington County Fair. And this year was no different. The little ones had fun on the usual rides and the big kids had fun too. Joshua told me he had fun, but he might be getting a little too big for the rides. (Sigh) Why do they have to grow up? Cousin Nicholas was able to visit us for a few days this past week. So fun! Everyone had so much fun having him here.
We also played at the Washington City Rec. Center two times, plus the Stoneridge pool in our area. So we did a lot of swimming this week. But, since we bought a summer pass for the rec. center this year, we have been swimming a lot more than usual, anyway.
This picture cracks me up. The kids wanted to sleep outside, so for a couple of days, they slept on the trampoline. They didn't bring enough covers outside, and so they all ended up snuggled up together trying to share blankets. Jakob is in there somewhere. =)
